Sailing season is here! Let’s get off the da#n dock!

We’re hosting a sailing event, out of

Washington Park Marina, Michigan City, IN

Saturday August 22, 2026

Skipper’s meeting and event registration 0900 at slip 8068 (800 dock)

Shoving off the docks at 1000 and returning to MC marina by about 1500.

All makes – All models – All sizes – All welcome

If it has sails and floats… sail it! This is all about uninhibited sailing fun.

This will be a casual, day cruise, not a race, to wherever the wind blows us and

back to the marina again that afternoon for stories (& lies), cocktails & pizza party.

Cash drawing & 50/50 raffle afterwards on the dock. BYOBooze and optional

BYOAppetizers. We are encouraging all boats to sail together as a group to promote

camaraderie amongst the ranks. This will also make for a great photo op. Take lots

of pictures of your ship and of others, then share them with everyone on our

Facebook group “Catalina Fleet 21 Chicago Region”.

Event cost will be $15 per head for pizza and incidentals. All excess money will be

entered into a cash drawing on the dock.
