Cruise to Chicago

Hi everyone!

We have a plan for our outing in Chicago on Saturday, Aug. 8. 

We’ll take the 1 p.m. First Lady of the Lake architectural tour, which departs from 112 W. Wacker Drive. Take the stairs to get down to the river. 

Below is a link to purchase your own tickets for this tour. Please note they want passengers on site about 30 minutes early. Transient sailors in Burnham will most likely take an Uber to the Chicago River. 

After the 90-mnute tour we may have time for a drink along the river.

Then we will make our way (walking or driving) to Columbia Yacht Club. Fleet member Cathy Bredlau graciously offered to host us and she made  4 p.m. reservation for outdoor dining there.

Please make sure you’ve sent Laura (Pohland57@aol.com) an RSVP so we know who’s coming—a final count for the reservation at Columbia is especially important.
